Returns and Exchanges: Return and Exchange Policies
It is our mission at Rendezvous Limited to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not pleased with the product, we will gladly accept, within limitations, the return of your unused, unworn, unwashed, or defective merchandise for a refund of the original purchase price or for an exchange of same or other product.
We hope you will appreciate the need for the receipt of the return in a timely manner of 60 days from the initial purchase, unless otherwise stated on a product by product basis. Any return of product that has had a previous clearance price applied should be returned within 30 days from the initial purchase for a full refund.
However, to allow for unwanted or ill-fitting gifts, the following exceptions apply:
o Holiday gifts ordered from November onwards may be returned up to the end of January. (up to 90 days, this situation only)
o Valentine's gifts ordered from January onwards may be returned up to April 15.
RETURNS
Returned merchandise should be sent, where possible, in the same shipping packaging including any vendor packaging or marketing materials sent to illustrate use or warranty of the product, and any protective wrap or identity tags for either branding, use, wash instructions, etc. Used merchandise cannot be returned unless it is deemed defective. Please be very specific when identifying the reason for return and the placement / location of the defect and why the product cannot be used. In some cases, where these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee charge of 10% to return that merchandise to inventory in a condition and manner for resale.
A pick up fee might apply to returns of large and or heavy items. This fee will be calculated in terms of the individual item, how it will be returned, or picked up for return and the transportation and distance required.
Initial shipping fees as well as return and exchange shipping costs are not refundable.
Please allow two weeks for the receipt and processing of your return, and depending upon the process and cycle of your credit card company to see that refund appear on your credit card statement. If you have asked for an exchange, there may be no refund reflected or the residual cost due or a refund will appear in your next future credit card statement.
All fragrance and cosmetics returns must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging for a credit or exchange to be issued. Any personal items used internally on the body cannot be returned. If these items are returned they will be sent back to the customer at their own risk and expense. All underwear, lingerie, and intimate apparel items must not be worn, washed, used or separated from any materials that they were shipped with e.g. tags, wash instructions, sales material, special gift with purchase, etc.
EXCHANGES
If you have requested an exchange of a higher value, any difference due will be charged to the card used to pay for the original order. Please note that, on orders paid for with only a gift card, we are unable to process replacements of a higher value than is available on the gift card. In these circumstances, you should request a refund for the returned goods. Once this refund has been processed to your gift card you will then be able to use the balance to place a new order, giving your additional payment details for any extra balance on the order form.
RETURN OF A GIFT BY THE PERSON RECEIVING THE GIFT
You can return the goods as normal. Please refer to the returns process and guidelines above. Again, please make sure that all the original paperwork is returned with the unused product. If you choose to make a return of a gift, do understand that as a part of our automated system return process, the purchaser and sender of the gift will automatically be notified by email of the return, refund, or exchange of the gift. Unfortunately, we cannot prevent this due to the system requirements.
If you request an exchange of items or a replacement of items of a higher value than were originally sent to you as a gift, we would require the purchaser's permission before making such a transaction resulting in an additional charge to their credit card. Any difference can be paid on your own credit card without the approval of the original purchaser. If you want to do this, please state this explicitly on the returns form and include very clear contact details where we can reach you to make payment and include the credit card information including credit card number, expiration date, and security code for us to process this type of transaction through our system.
ORDER CANCELLATION
In the event you choose to order personalized or monogrammed items, please order them very carefully and review your order before submitting it. Personalized and monogrammed orders cannot be cancelled once they are in process of being worked on or in the shipping process, and these items are not at any time returnable.
You may cancel your DoYouRendezvous.com order as long as the order status is "in-process". If the order status is already "shipped", the order cannot be cancelled and must follow the return procedures should you choose not to keep the product(s). Again, a restocking fee may apply to certain items cancelled or returned after 30 days from the original order date.
Please order personalized and monogrammed items carefully; personalized and monogrammed orders cannot be canceled, and personalized and monogrammed items are not returnable.
MERCHANDISE AVAILABILITY
DoYouRendezvous.com reserves the right to limit quantities.
DoYouRendezvous.com offers a wide and in most cases a deep selection of the products we feel our customers would like and appreciate. We constantly review our assortments adding new and exciting product and deleting some products due to seasonality, lack of interest, or no longer being provided by our vendors or manufacturers.
IN STOCK MERCHANDISE
Merchandise in our inventory at the time of order, usually within 3 days. DoYouRendezvous.com will let you know at the checkout or by a follow up message via email that merchandise you have selected in not currently in stock, need to confirm next delivery, or give you an anticipated delivery date. Anticipated delivery dates will appear at the time of the checkout. All orders are subject to credit approval, in stock or otherwise, at the time of processing the request.
From time to time, a product that you initially ordered will no longer be available the next time you visit the Website. Product presentations and items will be retired or no longer ordered by us or at the direction of the manufacturers to make room for the new items. Once retired, we will make every effort to try to send you the item requested should we own it in our inventories. If we cannot, please review our suggested substitutions or select a second choice on your own.
BACKORDERS
There is no additional cost to ship backorders. There is only one shipping & handling charge per order and it is charged when your first shipment is sent. Additional shipments are shipped at no additional cost.
EXCLUSIVE ITEMS
Items developed exclusively for DoYouRendezvous.com are exclusive to us. We hope that you will enjoy them. Do note that we will review, change, modify and improve this product often, and the product may change slightly from your last purchase. Many times we will also receive exclusive offerings from our vendors and manufacturers on a one time purchase offering basis.
